OUR PROGRAMMES

Athletic Academy CIC delivers and develops community basketball programmes in response to identified local need. Some programmes are currently in delivery, while others are ready-to-launch initiatives that will be activated as funding and partnerships are secured.

Each programme has been designed in line with our charitable objects, safeguarding standards, and community impact goals. As part of our community basketball programmes, Athletic Academy CIC supports participation in organised club basketball under the name Nottingham Athletic.

Nottingham Athletic teams provide structured, age-appropriate opportunities for children and young people to play, train, and progress within local leagues, from minis and junior levels through to adult local league basketball. These teams form an important part of our wider community pathway, offering safe, inclusive environments that prioritise development, wellbeing, and long-term engagement in sport over performance outcomes.
